It scares me so much that something is weirder than me. I hope no virgin in real life will be mrdered to extract the spirit of human scent, which may turn out to be smell of shit, I guess.

再过两天，我就已经在美国呆了两年了。同样的冰天雪地，使我重新找到一点刚到圣克劳德的感觉。

 

两年前：

 

经过20多小时的飞机，终于到达小镇的机场。当一位来自东欧的留学生来接我去学校，我累得说话都有气无力，搞得他半天听不明白我说什么。但是，在路上我马上振奋了起来。原本以为小镇寒冬的夜晚是黑漆漆的一片，然而我眼前的小镇格外的明亮，因为路灯照在雪地上，反射得到处都明明静静亮亮堂堂的。

 

空气中浸透着一种寒冷的清新，一种我现在怎么也闻不到的味道。那时我一点也不觉得冷，放好行李便打电话给之前联系过的中国留学生媛媛。她带我去了两家超市购物。超市里，除了到处是些奇奇怪怪的瓶瓶罐罐，还发现美国的人真是各种各样。结帐时，感觉收营员特别有礼貌，一直冲着我微笑（我那时的英语，听也听不懂说也说不明），临走时还会对顾客说‘谢谢，晚安，保重’。虽然简单的言行举止，但让我感到别人毕竟还是文明社会。

 

之后回到宿舍，沉沉的入睡了。直到第二天中午一睁开眼，阳光下一个崭新的世界清清楚楚地呈现在我眼前。窗外厚厚的白雪平平整整的堆积在草地上，松鼠东奔西跑上蹿下跳，在我这个在国内城市长大的人眼中，这里在仿佛从来都没有人造访过。每到整点，钟楼传来祥和悦耳的钟声，回响在这个宁静的世界里。

 

第一个星期，学校的国际学生部会组织大家办理入学手续，熟悉校园环境，相互了解和交流。这段时间，我也认识了不少国际学生，刚来美国，大家都是难兄难弟。每天晚上都有一些聚会，附近教堂的热心家庭会带一些食物来。具体有些什么食物我已忘记了，但是记得什么都是冷的，吃了没有酒足饭饱那种热腾腾的感觉，以至于回到宿舍煮了一包方便面，便觉得是人间美味了。

 

感觉大家都很友好，认识不认识的见面都会打招呼，遇到困难，很多人还会主动来帮助你。后来我的室友克里斯托弗来了，他也是出乎意料的好基督教徒，对我适应美国生活起了很大帮助。我所在的劳伦斯楼的居民都很友善和开朗，以至于一个学期下来我几乎认识了整个宿舍楼里的人。我认为，那个学期是我读书生涯中最快乐的一段时光。

 

那个冬天，在这个寒冷的北方小镇，我不但一次穿上了冰刀鞋在溜冰场上乱滑一气，还第一次踩着雪橇从山顶直冲而下；第一次看到了结冻了的密西西比河，第一次在双子城参观了冰雕展。但是，我一点也没感觉到冷。

 

两年后的今天：

 

我已经失去了一切新鲜感。下不下雪都与我无关，稀奇古怪的人我也都觉得平常了，每周购物变得非常劳累，食物冷的热的我的胃都兼收并蓄。也许是时候做点改变了。

On the contrary, if we all report to the police and even OVER-ACT to inform the neighborhood and blame the thieves to everyone(including the potential thieves) everywhere, then it's like an Alarm and the Restriction to the thieves. Everybody work together to achieve an ideal society.

 

What a ridiculous night-thinking, and what a cute American, hope he can find his bicycle.

A beautiful beautiful movie. Penguins, the animal living on the far land of Antarctica, march all the way on the ice to their breeding land, hatch the eggs in the extremely hash winter, and the parents go back and forth in turn to get the food.  A lot of new lives disappear easily in the unbearable process, which make their parents’ suffer of several months in vein. The whole movie reflects one theme: love.

( ‧曉方 ) 從武漢來到加州，最懷念的故鄉小吃就是熱乾麵。熱乾麵在武漢的名氣和普及程度，可以說居於各種小吃之冠。國內外遊客到了武漢，也無不爭相品嚐熱乾麵。這是因為，熱乾麵是武漢獨樹一幟的小吃，在全國各地都是沒有的，可謂獨一無二。

武漢人把早餐叫作「過早」。而「過早」的當家食品之一就是熱乾麵。上學族與上班族，清晨行色匆匆，來一碗熱乾麵，加上一杯豆漿，可以說是最佳搭配。一是快捷方便，立等可得，符合現代速食的要求。二是味美可口，經濟實惠，一般一塊到一塊五人民幣就可以買一碗。熱乾麵已經有上百年歷史。據說行成於清末民初。傳說有一位賣湯麵的，到晚上常常為賣不完的麵條發愁。武漢是全國三大火爐之一，夏天隔夜的麵條很容易變質。一天，他靈機一動，把賣剩的麵條在開水中煮到七八成熟，撈出來淋上麻油拌勻，抖散放涼。到第二天用開水燙一下就上碗，加上自製的佐料，竟然有獨特風味，深受顧客歡迎。由此給它起了個名字叫「熱乾麵」。在發展過程中，居然形成了名店名牌，其中以「蔡林記」為代表。到武漢，要吃正宗的熱乾麵，就要到「蔡林記」。現在「蔡林記」 已形成連鎖店，並非「只此一家，別無分店」。

熱乾麵的做法並不難，關鍵是佐料的搭配。選用中粗的水切麵，在開水中煮到七八成熟，撈起來淋上麻油，抖散拌勻，放涼了備用。基本佐料有﹕醬油，醋，芝麻醬，味精，胡椒，蔥花，蝦米末，醬胡蘿蔔等。芝麻醬要加麻油和鹽調和。要吃時，只要把備好的麵在開水中燙一下，加上佐料即可。現在也有增加香腸絲，雞絲，海帶絲，豆芽等，形成不同風味。當然愛吃辣的，不妨再準備一瓶辣醬。

他叫Baxter, 是一只德国猎犬。当我第一次踏入他主人家的大门， 他惊恐的狂吠，四处乱窜，主人一次次阻止他向我的‘袭击’，并一个劲地解释这是一条好狗。几个回合后，他已是浑身发抖，用审视的大眼珠上下打量着我。

 

寒暄几句后，我找了个地方坐了下来，他趁机悄悄的靠近了我，脑袋一下子凑了过来，朝我浑身上下嗅着，并不停的翻吐着舌头，朋友告诉我他告气味识别人，并开玩笑的说他现在在尝我的味道。虽然我不懂狗经，衣裤已被他舔得湿漉漉的，但我还是礼貌性的抚摸着他短而刚硬的棕色狗毛，无奈的表示我的友好。

 

他离开了，朋友对他是又亲又抱。看着他一对硕大的黑眼珠和两瓣皱巴巴的下巴，心里并无多少好感。他在每个人之间窜来窜去，每次经过我，都要凑上来嗅一嗅，我顺手抚摸他的脑袋，他会警惕的躲开。朋友大声地吼着：’be nice to your friend’, 他疑惑而无辜的张望着我们，用他那一对硕大的黑眼珠。

 

我蹲下身来，与他四目相对，那一霎那，我心里一震，眼前的分明就是充满灵气的和人一样的生命。我伸出手去挠他的下巴，他低下了头，吐出热乎乎的舌头。我坐在了地上，他前脚踏在我大腿上，嘴巴一下子就凑到我脸上，我的脸顿时感觉到了温度和湿度。我想，我们成朋友了。他笑了。

 

于是，他跟着我楼上楼下房里房外，我找到柔软物体便去砸他，他便扑向我，我再把他踢开，或把他按倒，他挣扎着爬起来，再次进攻。初次见面，我多少有些拘谨，他却不顾仪态的兴奋。玩耍中，我多少有些担心他天性发作，但他总是温柔的避开的尖牙和利爪对我的伤害，我隐约感到他是一条通人性的狗。

 

出乎意料的是，不一会儿，他却趴在了地上，嘴里喘着粗气。朋友告诉我， 他老了。我再次坐在了地上，降到跟他同等的高度。他扭过耷拉着脑袋的头，缓缓得走到我跟前，静静地坐在了我的怀中。我注意到了他有两条狗圈，朋友说，一条是用于节育的。他的头朝着窗外，我分明看到，他硕大的黑眼珠闪烁着泪花，忧郁的眼神总想要诉说什么。我一次次抚平他紧皱的眉头，他在思考，也许他也有忧愁。我紧紧地搂住他，他再次舔着我的脸，仍然是那么的热乎乎，湿漉漉。

 

晚上临走时，他一直跟到了门口，我跟大家道别后，没多想就走了。但在路上，我意识到，我的内心多了一份感觉，并且难以忘却。

Tonight, I watched the Biography of Jeffrey Dahmer, who was a notorious American serial killer, necrophiliac and cannibal, who murdered 17 men and boys(homosexual black men and two Hmong brothers) between 1978 and 1991. His story indeed scared me, but what shocked me more is the comments and responses by those American people:

What's the fuck wrong with those people, everybody seem have sympathy on him, just because most victims are black gay? Anyway, to kill a human life and enjoy the dead body is far beyond my moral limitation, no matter what kind of special and interesting personalities he has. Now I am watching Ted Bundy who murdered over 30 young women, America is really a free place to breed the freaks who dare to carry on their cruel and insane thoughts, just to satisfy their own curiosity and desire. Blame them, and bless all my friends safe and sound on this free land.

After the thunderstorm, I took a trip along the Mississippi River with Nguyen. The scenary in the bright sunshine is astonishing. White clouds flow in the blue sky silently, clear water passes the boulders happily, fresh air blows through the trees, whose leaves begin to turn red, what you can only feel is the beauty of the nature. The woods were a triumphal parade of brown, yellow, orange, tawny red, and chestnut, and the flaming glowing scarlet of the maples. So why not enjoy the photos we took this afternoon, and the world will be more wonderful than you thought. 

睡觉时突然回忆起在上海的那几个月时光，突然感觉很陌生，脑海里冒出很多事情，我怎么还有那些奇特的经历？是那那段生活给我打下的烙印太浅了，还是我遗忘得太快了？也许那时我就该写blog纪录下来。
